Lonestar Integrated Solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Manager to lead our electrical assembly shop operations. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 5 years of experience in an electrical shop environment, a solid understanding of industry best practices and standards, quality control procedures, and strong proficiency in electrical / control assemblies. The Shop Manager will oversee daily shop operations, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the daily operations of the shop, including planning, organizing, and directing the team’s activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely project delivery.
- Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, electricians, and assemblers to ensure quality workmanship, safety, and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical assemblies, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control processes, inspecting work for accuracy and conformance to specifications. Troubleshoot any production issues and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies needed for panel production. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and coordinate with procurement.
- Work closely with the engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements and communicate progress or issues to customers as necessary.
- Enforce and maintain a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
