Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Print Production Manager at Lonestar Large Format Printing. The Print Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing print production processes, managing production schedules, ensuring quality control, and coordinating with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Management: Organize and prioritize daily production tasks to maintain efficient operations.
- Printing & Production: Oversee setup, printing, and production processes using wide format printers, laminators, and plotters.
- Graphic Design: Provide design services for signage and displays when needed; proficient in software like Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Quality Control: Ensure finished products meet quality standards and manage revisions based on client feedback.
- Machine Operation: Maintain and operate printing and cutting machines, ensuring proper settings and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of supplies (inks, blades, media), ensuring adequate levels are maintained.
- Problem Solving: Address issues promptly and communicate effectively with the team regarding workflow challenges.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean production area and organized inventory.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively seek ways to enhance processes, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
