What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restorative Aide/CNA position at Lonestar?
Provides residents with routine restorative nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment, care plan and as directed by supervisors.
- Ensures resident’s needs are met while maintaining the highest degree of dignity.
- Documents care on Rehabilitation / Restorative flow sheet.
- Notifies restorative nurse coordinator or appropriate therapy department of any problems,
- Referrals or reassessments needed.
- Reports significant change in resident’s condition or motivational level to the charge nurse.

- Requirements :
- Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing
- Knowledge / Experience :
- Completion of a restorative nurse aide training program preferred
- 6 months of experience in long-term care as a restorative aide preferred
- Licensure / Certifications :
- CNA License
