MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in the discipline; OR,
- An Associate degree and six years of experience in the discipline; OR,
- Hold a valid credential to teach in the discipline; OR,
- Meet equivalent qualifications established by the district AND appropriate certificate to practice or licensure or its equivalent, if available; OR,
- The equivalent

Evidence of a sensitivity, understanding, and ability to manage the classroom environment AND effectively provide instruction to community college students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Lead all aspects of the Women’s Flag Football program as they relate to facilities, schedules, athlete eligibility, equipment, transportation, and running a successful program.
- Work with the Athletic Director to develop short- and long-range planning for the overall Women’s Flag Football program student success initiative, including student academic progress, matriculation, degree completion and transfer.
- Oversee outreach and student recruitment for Women's Flag Football program, including planning and coordinating student recruitment; inclusive of off campus scouting, on campus visits, communication and data collection.
- Work with department to develop and monitor Women's Flag Football program budget as well as ensure budgetary compliance; and provide leadership over the purchase of equipment, supplies, and materials connected with the sport program.
- Coordinate and lead Women’s Flag Football program related fundraising efforts as needed to enhance and/or improve the program needs to provide a quality athletic experience.
- Support and participate in the preparation of a variety of statistical and narrative reports. Records and files related to assigned operations and programs; compile sport program statistics and reports as required per CCCAA compliance and sports information support.
- Ensure compliance within the Women's Flag Football program; remain current on all new CCCAA legislation impacting the program and keep program constituents informed.
- Establish and maintain an environment conducive to the welfare and academic success of the student-athlete and that fosters collaboration with students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, and the public.
- Maintain professional expectations within the department, conference and state governing body.
- Support the Kinesiology Department by ensuring the sport program’s academic compliance, including but not limited to; curriculum development and the assessment of student learning outcomes.
- Competition, inclusive of the CCCAA non-traditional, traditional and post season.
