Duties
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration OR
- Bachelor’s in business with accounting emphasis or business administration with accounting emphasis or economics with an accounting emphasis AND Master’s in business, business administration, business education, economics, taxation, finance OR
- the equivalent.
(NOTE: A bachelor’s degree in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration, with a CPA license is an alternative qualification for this discipline.) AND,
Evidence of a sensitivity, understanding, and ability to manage the classroom environment AND effectively provide instruction to community college students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds.
LOCAL Equivalency:
Possession of a Master’s Degree in Accounting OR a business-related field such as Business, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance or Marketing, to include 18 units of graduate or upper division work in Accounting courses (including the degree required lower-division courses of Financial and Managerial accounting) or Accounting related courses in the fields of Finance, Taxation and Economic Analysis.
OR
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field, such as business, business management, business administration, accountancy, finance, marketing or business education,
AND
A CPA (Certified Public Accounting) License.
For the Bachelor’s degree, the course work must include eighteen (18) units of upper-division-level collegiate course work in business or a related discipline such as business administration, business management, accountancy, finance, marketing, economics or business education
