Bartender

Main Responsibilities of a Bartender:

● Expert POS skills - Taking orders and delivering food and beverages.

● Preparing craft cocktails and wine knowledge. Abler to make suggestions and recommendations on wine selections.

● Having thorough knowledge of all menus. You will be tested on menu knowledge. .

● Providing exceptional customer service to the members.

Bartender Job Description:

Long Beach Country Club is looking for a qualified bartender with a great attitude, remarkable skills and engaging people skills.

Making beverage and wine recommendations based on the needs and preferences of our members is a crucial aspect of this position. Communicating with our members in a professional and friendly manner is a must for excellent member experience. The right person for this job will be able to multitask food and beverage orders and delivery these in a prompt manner.

A good job candidate must be able to perfectly create alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, which includes mixing ingredients to prepare classic and craft cocktails. Knowledge of wine service and presentation. They also need to keep the bar clean and well-organized, as well as ensure it is always fully stocked.

Applicant must be able to work 30-40 hours per week which must include weekends, holidays and special events.

Responsibilities of a Bartender:

● Taking orders and serving drinks and food to members

● Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

● Mixing classic and craft cocktails

● Communicating with members in a friendly and professional manner

● Providing an exceptional guest experience

● Knowledge of our menu and making recommendations based on members' needs and preferences

● Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and well-organized

● Checking members' and guests' IDs to ensure they meet the legal drinking age

Bartender Job Requirements:

● Recent experience as a bartender

● Knowledge of preparing and mixing beverages

● A current/valid bartender's permit is a requirement

● Strong P.O.S skills

● Strong teamwork and communication skills

● Professional and positive disposition

● Ability to keep the bar clean, stocked and well-organized

An on-site written test and preparing a classic cocktail will be expected at the time of your interview.
