Our Country Club is looking for servers with a great attitude, remarkable hard skills and engaging people skills.
Our club prides itself in providing excellent service, which is why we are looking for servers who will treat our members with attentiveness, patience, and a positive attitude. The right person for this job will be able to multitask food and beverage orders and delivery of these in a prompt manner.
The responsibilities of a server include, but are not limited to, greeting members, having thorough knowledge of wine, lunch and dinner menu's, providing recommendations, taking orders, clearing tables, and all with a genuine smile.
To help our country club provide a pleasurable dining experience, a good server should be able to ensure that our guests are fully satisfied by being friendly, courteous, accommodating, and reliable. A suitable candidate for the job should also be a problem-solver and a team player.
Responsibilities of a Server:
- Perform set-up, clean-up and closing duties, as assigned by manager.
- Thorough knowledge of lunch, dinner, wine, cocktail, and dessert menus.
- Checking ID's to prevent minors from ordering alcoholic beverages.
- Provide menu recommendations and additional information.
- Present menus, take orders, and enter orders correctly in POS system.
- Suggest and serve dessert, coffee and/or after-dinner drinks
- Take necessary steps to ensure a satisfactory customer experience
- Work in collaboration with other servers and staff.
- Clearing and maintaining the appearance of the tables.
Server Job Requirements:
- Prior experience as a server is preferred, but we are excited to train an enthusiastic learner.
- Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
- Must be available for specific mandatory shifts and events.
- Must carry at least a high school diploma.
