Medical Receptionist- Per Diem

I am looking for: 1 per diem front-desk receptionist.

Working in a small business is much different than working for a large corporation. In the medical world, that means treating patients as human beings and not as numbers. For my team, it means having the freedom to change systems and implement new things at any time! I also believe in treating my patients and my staff with respect, compassion and empathy.

*The hours for the job are:

ONLY on as-needed basis - I need coverage for when my staff isn't available. I need someone with a somewhat open schedule.

If you are only looking for medical experience, this won't be the right fit. I want someone who is passionate about helping others. This is not just a transactional job. We are providing support for human beings so it requires care, empathy and compassion. I need someone who truly cares.

We are an office that builds strong, long-lasting relationships with our patients by holding space and providing natural healing for people of all types. We truly care about the people that come to our for our services. The front desk position is just as important as the Practitioner position. The front staff provides a different kind of support to our patients that is also very important.

This job entails: checking patients in/out, submitting insurance to medical billers, communicating insurance information to patients, turning over treatment rooms, helping input inventory, organizing natural retail items, accounting, creating Word/Excel docs, using an EMR system. Attention to detail is a MUST!

There will occasionally be fun Team Events that we will do together and those events will be paid for by the owner.
