SUBSTITUTE TEACHING POSITION

Final candidates will be recommended to the Superintendent of Schools for Board approval.
QUALIFICATIONS :
New Jersey Teaching Certificate OR Valid CountySubstitute Certificate
The ability to work effectively with students at all intellectual levels and to establish and maintain good rapport while working closely with other teachers and administrators
Fingerprinting is required for criminal history background clearance
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION :
To enable each child to pursue his or her education as smoothly completely possible in the absence of the regular teacher
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
Report to the Building Principal upon arrival at school at least 15-30 minutes before the official school opening
Review lesson plans, attendance forms, and schedules to be followed during the teaching day
Provide instruction as outlined in the lesson plans provided
Follow all school policies and procedures Assume responsibly of ensuring appropriate behavior of students under your supervision
- Applications will be reviewed, followed by a Virtual Substitute Meet & Greet with the Building Principal. Final candidates will be recommended to the Superintendent of Schools for Board approval.
