Job Summary:
We are seeking a collaborative and driven Associate Attorney to join our Central PA practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law and be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. As an Associate, this attorney will provide legal support and represent clients in a variety of matters, including Family Law, Estate Planning, Civil Litigation, and Business law. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience and mentorship from highly respected attorneys in the community, with the potential for long-term growth within the firm in a specific area of practice as desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal research, analysis, and writing support across diverse practice areas, including Family Law, Estate Planning, Civil Litigation, and Business Law.
- Represent clients in hearings, meetings, and other legal proceedings.
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, wills, estate plans, pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Meet with clients to ascertain their needs and provide legal advice on recommended courses of action.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress.
- Collaborate with partners and staff to deliver high-quality legal services.
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, ensuring all client needs are met.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and within the community.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of 3 years as a practicing attorney, with some level of familiarity in Family Law, Estate Planning, Civil Litigation, or Business Law.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
