Position Purpose
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the distribution warehouse, ensuring a safe, efficient, and orderly environment. The manager will focus on cost control, efficiency, and service quality while supporting the departmental budget and maintaining effective cash flow. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with the Director to align operations with organizational goals, drive continuous improvement, and maintain high standards of customer service.
Pay Range: $70,000 - $95,000 plus potential profit share.

- Oversee the daily operations of a clean, orderly, functional, and safe distribution warehouse, ensuring that all operational processes align with organizational goals.
- Ensure that workplace health and safety requirements are met in accordance with company policy and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing direction, coaching, and performance evaluations. Foster a high-performing team culture while developing staff.
- Continuously monitor warehouse performance, focusing on cost control, efficiency, and service quality. Analyze operational data and trends to make data-driven decisions for improvement.
- Take ownership of the planning, execution, and coordination of all warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving, ensuring efficient and timely operations.
- Lead the management of inventory control, including storage, retrieval, and delivery logistics, while ensuring that stock levels are optimized to meet customer demand and minimize excess inventory.
- Manage Invoice and billing to maintain effective cash flow.
- Assist and, when required, directly negotiate rates with common carrier representatives.
- Perform inventory and shipping, specifically by processing inventory orders and maintaining proper stock levels.
- Insures that all inventory accounts receivable are current in the accounting systems
- Establish clear expectations and demonstrate high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior.
- Assist with departmental budget, ensuring alignment with company financial objectives. Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining high operational standards.
- Establish, maintain and promote high standards of customer service.
- Offers general support for the entire company on parts issues and warehouse needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of related work experience, preferably in a HVAC warehouse environment
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literacy, including working experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Communication skills – both verbal and written
- Ability to successfully complete projects involving organization and process
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain and exemplify safety standards
- Attention to detail
- Certified operation of a Forklift
- Bachelor of Science Degree – Business Administration
