Driller

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Driller to join our team. The Driller will be required to have extensive knowledge of drilling operations, mechanical systems, and water well systems operation. This is a hands-on role that demands a strong focus on safety and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a background in the water well drilling and be familiar with mud rotary drilling techniques.

Responsibilities:

- Operate heavy equipment, including cranes, drill rigs, and other specialized machinery, to complete drilling tasks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and meet safety standards.
- Dig and construct trenches, foundations, and other infrastructure for projects.
- Collaborate with other crew members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors.
- Build and repair structures, such as pipelines, using specialized tools and techniques.
- Monitor drilling operations and make adjustments as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Experience:

- Proven experience in the water well industry, with a focus on drilling operations.
- Knowledge of mud rotary drilling techniques.
- Familiarity with construction sites and the operation of heavy equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with water well drilling equipment.
- Strong understanding of drilling safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina to work in challenging conditions for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,500.00 - $72,500.00 per year

• Extended hours
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Well installation: 6 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
