Roles and Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Windchill to meet business requirements; optimize solutions for product data management and lifecycle management.
- Manage product lifecycles and integrate Windchill with other systems for seamless data flow.
- Resolve system issues, including platform and deployment problems, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Lead system upgrades and updates, ensuring compatibility and minimal impact on business operations.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to software interoperability and platform integration.
- Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), System Configuration Documents (SCDs), and Test Plans.
- Use Java to develop Windchill customizations, workflows, and integrations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience in Windchill configuration and PLM.
- Strong Java programming skills for customization and integration.
- Experience with Windchill upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of system interoperability and integration.
- Experience creating BRDs, SCDs, and Test Plans.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with CAD tools integration (e.g., Creo, CATIA).
- Knowledge of other PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, ENOVIA) is a plus.
