Long Island Analytical Laboratories (LIAL), Inc. is looking for a qualified individual to take on the role of QA/QC officer. Applicants are required to have proficient understanding of EPA certified analytical methods and QA/QC standard operating procedures. Experience in an ELAP approved laboratory is a plus but not necessarily required so long as the applicant is proficient in QA/QC management.
The position is full time, on-site, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with few work from home options. Daily tasks will include daily calibrations, data monitoring, analyst training, method editing and ensuring compliance with all ELAP and EPA approved methodologies. Training will be conducted on site with additional training available from TNI NELAC. The additional training will be purchased and supplied by LIAL.
Salary will be based upon education and experience in the field and will range from $65,000.00 to $90,000.00. LIAL offers 401K and 401K matching in which you can participate after 6 months of employment. Additional perks include approved overtime, biannual bonuses, paid time off (PTO) and health insurance options.
