The Long Island Ducks, Four Time Atlantic League Champions, are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cleaning Crew Supervisor to join our facilities management team. This position is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our stadium, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for fans, players, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate a team of cleaning staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols for all areas of the facility
- Assign tasks and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient and thorough cleaning
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality standards are met and address issues promptly
- Manage cleaning supply inventory and coordinate restocking as needed
- Train new and existing staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use
- Address and resolve any cleaning-related issues in a timely manner
- Communicate with operations and maintenance teams to report facility concerns
- Assist with hands-on cleaning duties as needed to support the team
Qualifications:
- 18 years of age or older
- Prior supervisory experience in janitorial, custodial, or stadium operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and sanitation protocols
Compensation:
- $18.50 per hour
