Quality Control Chemist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct chemical analyses and experiments to develop new products, improve existing formulations, and ensure quality control.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including HPLC, GC-MS, FTIR, and other analytical instruments.
• Interpret data, prepare reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to achieve project goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in chemistry.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 4 years of experience in a laboratory or industrial setting (entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds are also encouraged to apply).
• Proficiency in analytical techniques and instrumentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EPA, ISO) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity for handling small tools and instruments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
