LIVS is a renovated 30,000 square foot, AAHA accredited, 24-hour referral and emergency hospital located in Long Island, NY. We house a team of 150 caring professionals in a variety of disciplines including Cardiology, Critical Care, Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Surgery. Why LIVS?

The Medical Director's primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive veterinary care to our patients, while maintaining a positive, professional, and supportive work environment for the veterinary team. Medical Directors work in close partnership with the Hospital Director to ensure the hospital’s success by acting as a medical subject matter expert, overseeing the entire medical team, and driving operational excellence.
