Main responsibilities of a cashier:
- Greeting customers warmly and ensuring a pleasant experience
- Providing excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and making recommendations
- Operating cash registers and handling transactions efficiently
- Balancing the cash register and maintaining accurate records
- Scanning products accurately and providing receipts
- Accepting various forms of payment and providing change
- Maintaining a clean workspace
- Assisting other staff members as needed
Cashier Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- High school degree or equivalent
- Basic computer knowledge
- Strong math skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
