We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring customers receive the right parts and accessories for their vehicles while delivering exceptional service. The Parts Counterperson must have a deep understanding of automotive parts, be able to accurately answer customer inquiries, and efficiently locate and source parts through inventory systems or external vendors. Whether assisting customers in person, over the phone, or working with the service department, the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and committed to providing a seamless parts purchasing experience.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting both retail and internal service department needs, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will work with various vendors and suppliers to track down hard-to-find parts and maintain inventory accuracy. Your ability to problem-solve, communicate effectively, and stay up to date on automotive product knowledge will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with parts inquiries and purchases
- Locate parts within inventory or through vendors, dealerships, or online sources
- Process orders and arrange for customer pickup or delivery
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions
- Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in automotive parts sales preferred
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Proficient with computers and phone systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: Starts at $15 an hour. Higher pay is dependent experience level!
