Job description
Our client is a global manager with over $100bn in AUM. They are looking to hire an associate or VP focusing on sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
The position will play a critical role in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, building financial models, and supporting deal execution. The role will involve working closely with senior investment professionals and portfolio company management teams to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements post-investment.
- Investment Sourcing & Deal Flow: Identify and source potential investment opportunities in the insurance sector, including life, health, property, and casualty insurance companies
- Lead financial analysis and due diligence efforts, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, and risk assessment. Collaborate with senior team members on conducting deep industry and company research to assess potential deals.
- Support the preparation of investment memos, presentations, and other materials for internal investment committees. Assist in negotiating terms, structuring deals, and executing transactions.
Qualifications
- 3-8 years of experience in insurance private equity or FIG investment banking
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and analysis, with proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to work with senior management teams and drive execution.
Salary : $175,000 - $225,000
