Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards
- Use hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to take accurate measurements
- Operate tooling and machinery such as cranes to move and manipulate metal materials
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
- Cut, shape, and bend sheet metal using various techniques
Requirements:
- Previous experience in metalworking or a related field preferred
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Familiarity with using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal parts with precision
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials as needed
