Quality Engineer
Reports to : Quality Manager
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and refine the Continuous Improvement Systems and Procedures.
- Support the Quality Management System (QMS), focusing on document control and ensuring ISO 9001 : 2015 certification is maintained.
- Implement and monitor tools such as Control Plans, 8-D, and 5-Why to drive process improvements.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and establish corrective actions.
- Oversee the Root Cause / Corrective Action (CA) systems, ensuring nonconformances are evaluated, investigated, and corrective actions are implemented and tracked to closure.
- Monitor and assess quality metrics to ensure process reliability and capability.
- Manage daily operations of customer portals.
- Oversee the QA Hold area and participate in MRB processes and meetings.
- Perform onsite calibration of gauges and manage the calibration system, sending items offsite as necessary.
- Lead internal audits, working alongside the Manager for scheduling and completion.
- Train staff on compliance topics, including FDA regulations, IMDS, and other regulatory matters.
- Manage the issuance, tracking, and resolution of internal and external Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
- Conduct Layered Process and General audits.
