Responsibilities :
- Oversee cooks and dietary staff.
- Distribute menu preparation assignments and ensure prep work is completed, assisting if necessary.
- Ensure standard recipes are followed and food meets high standards set by the Administration.
- Audit walk-ins for dates, labels, and 72-hour rotation.
- Demonstrate plating to line staff before each meal.
- Audit tray line for accuracy.
- Ensure deliveries are put away, rotated, and organized in a timely fashion (FIFO).
- Manage ordering, menu planning, therapeutic diets, and scheduling.
- Familiarity with OnCare, MealTracker, and PCC.
- Adhere to local and federal food and safety guidelines.
