Job Opportunity : Certified Dining Services Manager
We are seeking a Certified Dining Services Manager to join our team and lead the operations of our Dining Services Department.
This role is vital to ensuring quality nutritional services and maintaining the department to the highest standards of cleanliness and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily operations of the Dining Services Department in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement special and therapeutic diet plans for residents in coordination with healthcare staff.
- Monitor resident nutritional needs, including weight and intake, and provide recommendations as necessary.
- Conduct hiring, training, and management of Dining Services staff.
- Manage budgets for food, supplies, and labor, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with other facility departments to coordinate Dining Services activities.
- Oversee inventory, staffing levels, and ensure uninterrupted dining operations.
- Attend facility meetings such as care plan reviews, risk management, and morning meetings as needed.
Qualifications :
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or active enrollment in a CDM program.
- ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a food service environment.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
