This role will focus on network and security projects and will work closely with our Systems Consultants, Project Managers and branch leadership.
A Day in the Life :
- Participating in network planning, architectural design, migration, configuration, and implementation
- Working with vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on project implementation, and resolving network issues
- Providing leadership to identify, manage risks, and resolve issues in a team environment
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
- Working independently with little supervision on day to day tasks, receiving general instructions on new assignments
- Conducting research and staying abreast of new technology and industry trends
- Supporting Layer 2 Technologies such switching, VLAN, spanning tree
- Layer 3 Routing protocols : BGP, EIGRP, OSPF
