Overview
The Home Health Care Administrator plays a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of high-quality home health care services. This position is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing compassionate care to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospice care, memory care, and dementia care, with a strong focus on patient well-being and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and implementation of individualized care plans for clients.
  • Ensure that all medical documentation and records are accurately maintained and up to date.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of home health aides, nurses, and other staff members.
  • Conduct regular assessments of client needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Provide training and support to staff on best practices in medication administration and patient care.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility assistance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for both clients and staff.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  • Monitor compliance with state regulations and agency policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in home health care administration or a related field.
  • Knowledge of hospice care, memory care, dementia care, and related services.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical documentation and record keeping.
  • Ability to assist clients with physical tasks, including lifting as necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and staff members.
  • Compassionate approach to caregiving with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for clients.
  • Valid certification or licensure as required by state regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 48 per week
