Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants in finding their ideal living space while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in managing relationships with current residents and ensuring a smooth leasing process from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property management, fair housing regulations, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist prospective tenants with inquiries about available properties and leasing options.
- Conduct property tours, showcasing the features and benefits of each unit to potential renters.
- Manage the application process, including collecting necessary documentation and conducting background checks.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions and lease agreements using property management software such as Rent Manager & Lease Hawk.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on relationship management.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative processes related to leasing.
- Familiarity with property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices.
- Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software, particularly Rent Manager or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
