Key Responsibilities :
- Longarone Focus : Oversee all Longarone field activities, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to project specifications.
- Coordination : Work closely with president and other CFO and PM to ensure seamless integration of siding work with other construction activities.
- Productivity Management : Manage labor and material productivity based on budget and job costs. Conduct weekly meetings with Project Executives or Project Managers.
- Manpower Management : Assess and shift manpower resources as needed, collaborating with other area managers to address manpower needs.
- Support and Arbitration : Provide support for Project Managers and Foreman team, acting as an arbitrator for disputes siding work.
- Safety Compliance : Collaborate with the Director of Safety to implement safety directives specific to siding construction. Conduct bi-weekly written safety observations and ensure proper safety training for employees.
- Scheduling : Collect and analyze two-week look-ahead schedules from foreman and PM, focusing on siding work timelines. Coordinate with GC on finishing schedules.
- Relationship Building : Develop and maintain relationships with General Contractor Superintendents, facilitating effective communication between Longarone Superintendents and GC Superintendents.
- Site Management : Regularly walk the site to oversee siding work, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Business Development : Participate in presales activities, gathering information on-site with potential customers and other superintendents.
- Equipment Coordination : Manage the coordination of equipment, including cranes, lifts and forklifts within the area and with other areas.
- Cost Oversight : Oversee job costs related to siding work, ensuring budget adherence and desired outcomes.
- Problem Solving : Act as the primary problem solver for issues beyond the superintendent level, particularly those related to siding construction.
- Headcount Management : Work with the Director of Field Operations to identify and address headcount needs.
- Meeting Participation : Attend various meetings, including preconstruction, kickoff, pre-pour, and operations meetings, ensuring siding work is adequately planned and executed.
- Checklist Compliance : Ensure pre-pour checklists are completed by project managers and foremans.
- Daily Coordination : Facilitate end-of-day conversations between foremans and project managers about daily jobsite activities, focusing on siding work.
- Training Program Management : Oversee the internal training program, ensuring two people are being trained for targeted job responsibilities at all times.
- Consistency in Procedures : Hold regular meetings with superintendents to ensure consistency in operating procedures related to siding construction.
