Job Description
The Post Closing Team Lead will identify deficiencies, work with and coach teammates to resolve any issues. The Post Closing Team Lead will be the first point of contact for teammates and will help with any task assigned by the Post Closing Supervisor and Associate Director. They will answer questions asked by internal and external colleagues as relevant to Post Closing. Post Closing Team Lead will take ownership and/or take part in projects as they come up and will also be asked to communicate both verbally and in writing with the custodian and investors on certain projects. This position will be full time Monday – Friday in the Houston Office.
Primary Job Duties:
- Train and coach new hires and current team members on all Post Closing task
- Complete Post Closing task when volume requires and when team members are on PTO.
- Coordinate with our custodian to make sure each note gets dried out for pre-certification
- Resolve any exceptions from our custodians and investors
- Communicate and follow up with internal/external clients for documents and corrections
- Take ownership of certain pools to send to custodian for final certification
- Aid management with reporting and strategic planning as needed
- Monitor case binder endorsements and NOR’s ( notice of rejection )
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of Post Closing experience, reverse a plus
- Possess the ability to work in the Houston, TX office Monday - Friday
- Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications, specifically Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Precise diligence
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.

- Motivated collaborator with a selfless attitude
