Job Description
The Treasury Analyst supports the finance and senior management teams and is responsible for utilizing treasury technology tools and banking platforms to ensure accurate and timely reporting of cash positions, effective transaction processing, and a comprehensive resource for all key Treasury-related records and information.
Primary Job Duties:
- Coordinate cash management functions including daily cash position, transactions, deposits, and disbursements.
- Responsible for cash flow and warehouse capacity reporting and forecasting.
- Ensure the company is in compliance with all compliance covenants and requirements.
- Reconcile and coordinate various transactions such as securitizations and loan sales and purchases.
- Recommend process improvements while establishing and maintaining as SOX compliance environment.
- Initiate wires, account transfers, and ACHs; ensure that all payments and receipts are made in the most efficient, fraud-resistant, and cost-effective method.
- Troubleshoots, analyzes, provides, and implements solutions to issues, reconcile account differences and identify areas to improve efficiencies via automation to reduce or eliminate manual processes.
- Executing wire transfers
- Work with lenders to ensure sufficient credit is available for day-to-day operations
- Reconciling loan sale proceeds
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned within finance and may provide additional support to the accounting team when warranted
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- 5 years of related Treasury experience, preferably in the mortgage industry, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
- Team player, customer service oriented and strong work ethic.
- Self-reliant, ability to manage time and deadlines independently with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent in Microsoft Office products – very high level of Excel required.
- Experience in mortgage software products preferred but not required.
