What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver Training Range Master position at Longeviti?
**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**
DESCRIPTION
Longeviti is seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Driver Training Range Master on an upcoming proposal. This is a key position. The incumbent shall direct day-to-day management of contract support operations, involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations, or on a single project. This work is to be performed at FLETC facility located in Charleston, SC and the JBC/WS in Goose Creek, SC. The centers are federal government training facilities hosting students from multiple agencies and provides a wide range of basic and advanced law enforcement training.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist senior management as required in managing contract performance.
- Provide technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work and reviews the quality of all work products
- Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities.
- Emphasis on vehicle maintenance, vehicle logistics
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:
- Possess a minimum of two years of experience in automobile repairs.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise work orders, explaining required vehicle repairs.
- Ability to perform operator maintenance and conduct safety inspections of training vehicles to include fluid replacement, tire changes, windshield wipers, etc.
- Ability to transport vehicles to designated auto shop as per the FLETC Vehicle Coordinators direction.
- Ability to test drive training vehicles and evaluate repairs made to the vehicles to ensure repairs are proper and complete.
- Possess a valid operators license in the State of South Carolina.
- Capable of operating the following vehicles and equipment: (Current certification to be on file at the Contractors office):
- Forklift with a 6-ton capacity
- Tow truck properly and safely with a vehicle in tow
- All-terrain vehicle
- Ability to complete government provided training and perform Hazardous Waste Satellite Accumulation Area and Universal Hazardous Waste management responsibilities.
- Vehicle maintenance and logistics background preferred
