This posting is specifically for the GM – Financial Services role.
Job Summary: The General Manager - Financial Services will define our market position within the financial institution industry to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth, enhance competitiveness, and further our overall mission to provide unique solutions that create value for our clients. This role reports to the President of our Death Audit & Locate business and plays a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of this key growth business segment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Develop our competitive go-to-market and customer growth strategy for our new finance business segment.
Conduct research and communicate learnings about the banking landscape to stakeholders, including the board, executive team, functional leaders, and team members.
Manage a cross functional team consisting of sales, marketing, product & client services to meet revenue and profit goals for the banking segment.
Partner with customers and internal legal team members to negotiate deals & contracts with key customers; interact directly with customers as needed.
Ensure comprehensive segment industry training of sales and key stakeholders.
Location:
Hybrid; Minneapolis MN or Remote with periodic travel to Minneapolis, MN HQ
Travel required 10-20% of time (customer visits, conferences, and meetings)
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
10 years of experience working in the Finance & Banking market
In-depth understanding of the Financial & Banking industries, including knowledge of banking and financial products, decision making processes at financial institutions, and regulatory regimes
Demonstrated success working to negotiate and execute enterprise level contracts across multiple business lines.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead direct reports and collaborate across internal departments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
