Life Insurance Trust Company has opened a new Trust Intern/Assistant Trust Officer role in Sioux Falls, SD. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Trust Intern to join our Banking and Trust team. This individual will be responsible for trust operational activities and learning our systems/controls. He or she will deal with day-to-day operations and collaborate with other professionals in the financial services industry. The internship provides an excellent opportunity to work with our wonderful team and obtain valuable hands-on experience in trust administration and management.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Support our Trust team in daily operations
Opening and closing accounts on the trust accounting system
Respond to requests for information in a timely and accurate manner
Responsible for administration and operational support and day-to-day operations
Collaborate with our trust team to administer and work with clients
Required Skills:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Particularly Excel)
Ability to be organized and keep track of complex tasks
Accuracy and attention to detail
Analytical skills and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication
Attention to detail and a commitment to constant improvement
Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Ability to collaborate with others and willingness to learn
