Overview

Longevity Partners, a global energy and sustainability consultancy, is seeking a driven Business Development Intern to join our US team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in sustainability consulting, client acquisition, and sales strategy development. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background or demonstrated interest in client-facing roles, business development, and sustainability.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking candidates with experience or education related to :

  • Sales and client acquisition (proposals, contracts, and outreach).
  • Working within consultancy environments, ideally in sustainability or real estate sectors.
  • Managing and optimizing business development tools and processes.
  • Key Responsibilities

    As a Business Development Intern, you will :

  • Client and Market Research : Research prospective clients, industry trends, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities.
  • Lead Generation : Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and initiate outreach using platforms like LinkedIn and email.
  • Proposal and Sales Material Creation : Assist in preparing professional client-facing materials such as proposals, presentations, and contracts.
  • CRM Management : Maintain and update HubSpot or similar CRM systems to track leads and sales opportunities.
  • Content Development : Create marketing collateral, case studies, and insights into the sustainability and real estate sectors.
  • Event Coordination : Help plan and execute events and webinars to enhance client engagement and visibility.
  • Data Analysis : Analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Team Collaboration : Partner with sustainability consultants and marketing teams to align business development initiatives with company goals.
  • Qualifications

  • Currently in your final year or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or related fields .
  • Proven experience or coursework in sales, client acquisition, proposals, or contracts .
  • Knowledge or experience in sustainability, real estate, or consultancy environments is a strong advantage.
  • Strong research, writing, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with HubSpot or other CRM tools is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.
