About the role:
We are hiring a Principal Consultant, in a role aligned with the U.S. Department of Labor’s occupational classification for Chief Sustainability Officers, to lead high-profile engagements and drive sustainability transformation for global real estate clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong project leadership experience, technical sustainability expertise, and a proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

· Provide strategic leadership and oversight on complex, high-profile sustainability engagements

· Serve as a subject matter expert in Net Zero Carbon and ESG strategy

· Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of consultants and analysts

· Develop innovative methodologies for sustainability assessments and scenario planning

· Engage C-Suite stakeholders and represent the company at industry events

· Spearhead thought leadership through publications and conferences

· Drive business development and build relationships with industry leaders

· Ensure quality and strategic oversight of all client deliverables

· Collaborate with internal teams to optimize tools, processes, and service delivery

Requirements:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Public Health, Energy Engineering, Environmental Science, or related (foreign equivalency accepted)

· Experience: Minimum 4 years in sustainability or energy consulting (e.g., Sustainability and Energy Analyst)

· Skills:

· Project management and team leadership

· Regulatory compliance and policy understanding

· Strategic sustainability planning and ESG expertise

· Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, or project engagements (domestic only)
