The Investment Intern will support the fixed income investment team with routine and project-based work. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated student to gain direct experience with investment research and portfolio analysis experience at an active fundamental fixed income investment firm.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain issuer credit ratings database; track and distribute changes
- Create or update tear sheets and company analysis of financial counterparty exposures and industrial bond issuers; participate in earnings calls
- Assist with creating and updating spreadsheets and business intelligence dashboards
- Monitor and report on security and portfolio level performance
- Update portfolio reporting on allocations and risk exposures
- Special data and analysis projects
- Progress towards an Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree
- Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn the basics of credit analysis
- Ability to work autonomously or with multiple analysts
- Solid knowledge of accounting and macroeconomic concepts
- Proficient in MS Excel; exposure to Python and Power BI/Tableau preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with great accuracy, organization, attention to detail and follow-through Onsite 5 days a week
Pay: $25.00/hour
