About the Role -
Longfellow is seeking a Graphic Designer to support our team in a temporary role beginning immediately for 4-6 months. Based in our Durham, NC office, this role will focus on designing marketing, communication, and presentation materials that align with Longfellow’s corporate and Elevate brands across our global portfolio. The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with both local and national marketing team members to produce impactful visual content. At Longfellow, we pride ourselves on creating innovative and vibrant spaces. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles, work with talented professionals, and make a tangible impact on our brands' evolution. This position is located in Durham, NC and requires in-office work Monday - Thursday, with one designated remote workday on Friday. From time to time, manager may require team member to come to the office due to a particular deadline or projects requiring in-person collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create promotional flyers, e-blasts, and event collateral for Elevate, Longfellow's global proprietary amenities program.
- Ensure all materials align with Elevate’s brand standards and Longfellow’s broader brand hierarchy.
- Collaborate with the Elevate team to produce social media graphics supporting events and initiatives.
- Create visually engaging presentations and proposals for corporate projects.
- Design graphs, charts, maps, and other collateral for use across various business verticals.
- Translate written content into compelling visual and interactive elements.
- Assist with other graphic design projects as needed to support the marketing team.
- Prepare and organize design files for both digital and print production, ensuring quality standards are met.
Qualifications - Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members on project vision, goals, and edits.
- Competence in meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
Preferred Skills:
- Portfolio Requirement: A strong design portfolio must be submitted with the application.
