Job Title: RN Cath Lab
Location: Mesquite, TX
Shift: Days (6:30 to 15:00)
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Pay Package:
Weekly Taxable: $1510
Weekly non- Taxable: $1890
Weekly Groos: $3400
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of TX
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Cardiac Catheterization Certification (optional but beneficial)\
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Patient Preparation: Assists in preparing patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab, including patient assessment, education, and ensuring the patient is in a stable condition.
- Assisting During Procedures: Works closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to monitor patients during procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and catheter insertion.
- Monitoring Vital Signs: Constantly monitors the patient's vitals (heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels) during procedures.
- Infection Control: Ensures the sterile environment is maintained and prepares equipment for procedures.
- Post-Procedure Care: Monitors patients after procedures, provides recovery support, and educates patients about post-procedure care.
