Travel Scrub Tech – OR (Days)
Location:
Shasta Regional Medical Center (SRMC) – Surgery Department
Redding, California
Contract Length:
13 Weeks (02/17/2025 – 05/18/2025)
Shift:
Day Shift | 06:00 AM – 03:00 PM
On-call required (as scheduled)
Pay Range:
$48/hr – $50/hr (including stipend)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery
- Maintain a sterile field during procedures
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies
- Monitor patient safety and support OR protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Scrub Tech in an OR setting
- Certification required (e.g., NBSTSA or NCCT CST preferred)
- Must be comfortable with on-call responsibilities (every 4th week, 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Current BLS certification
