Position Summary:
Camp Tahuaya – a Family Adventure Campground is currently seeking candidates for the role of Housekeeper!
We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented housekeeping staff to join our team at Camp Tahuaya. The part-time housekeeping staff will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the campground facilities, including accommodations, restrooms/shower facilities, and common areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, values cleanliness, and has a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

Compensation: $13.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize accommodations, restrooms/shower facilities on a regular schedule and as needed.
- Making beds and changing linens in Family Suites and Cabins.
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Ensure all common areas (campfire pits, picnic tables, etc.) are free from debris and ready for guest use.
- Restock supplies in restrooms, showers, and other facilities (e.g., toilet paper, soap, paper towels).
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
- Properly handle and store cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a welcoming, positive, and helpful attitude toward campers and guests.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and follow cleaning schedules.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be a hard worker that is friendly, detail oriented, accurate, self-motivated, and willing to work in a team environment
- Demonstrate good judgment.
- Demonstrate sound professional ethics.
- Flexible and committed to personal and professional development.
Essential Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Become a registered member of Boy Scouts of America, which includes a Criminal Background check and required training.
- Part-time position with flexible scheduling.
- Shift hours may vary, and some evening or early morning work may be required.
Work Conditions/Physical Demands: Activities occur both inside and outside. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently
