At Longhorn Organics, we are seeking a Foreman who will be at the forefront of our construction operations. In this pivotal role, you will take charge of managing daily construction tasks and our dedicated staff. As a mentor and leader, you will allocate responsibilities, provide valuable training, and supervise our dedicated crew members. - Reporting directly to the Superintendent and effectively communicating daily goals and progress in both written and verbal forms.
- Planning, implementing, and managing construction tasks according to assigned priorities and goals.
- Overseeing employees' attendance and the quality of their work.
- Adhering to relevant safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
- Managing and guiding the use of machinery and equipment.
- Peacefully resolving any emerging problems and issues on job site locations.
- Allocating and delegating responsibilities among team members.
- Supervising, training, and providing feedback to crew members.
- Ensuring equipment, tools, supplies, and other necessary resources are available, well-maintained, and in good condition to meet the demands of the work.
- Performing installations of water filtration systems, equipment, piping, and related activities.
- Undertaking other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in construction team and/or LSS/water filtration operation and fabrication, totaling at least 5 years.
- A minimum Bachelor of Science degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills:
The following skills and experiences are advantageous:
- Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints.
- Strong time management skills.
- Effective staff management abilities.
- Competent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Excel.
- PVC Plumbing expertise.
- HDPE Fusion Welding experience
- Capability with general hand and shop tools commonly used in such projects.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 50lbs independently on a regular basis.
Skills Preferred:
- Design abilities in digital format.
- Knowledge of software like Revit, Total Robotic Station, and/or Survey capabilities.
- Facilities management experience.
- HDPE FUSION Welding Certification
- Proficiency in handling glass/acrylic.
- Experience in managing aquatic exhibit eco-systems.
- Staff training experience.
