Men's Locker Room Attendant

Longmeadow Country Club is looking for a Men's Locker Room Attendant for the upcoming golf season. Responsibilities include the cleaning and maintenance of the locker facilities, cleaning of golf shoes and providing general assistance to our members. A friendly attitude with attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment will be the key to your success. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain member satisfaction.

The Longmeadow Country Club (LCC) is a member-run organization located at 400 Shaker Road in Longmeadow with 430 active members. The Club includes a fully renovated Clubhouse (2018), an 18-hole Donald Ross golf course (plus practice areas and pro shop), 4 Har-Tru tennis courts, 2 platform tennis courts, swimming and wading pools, and a full service poolside café.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet and assist members and guests as they enter the locker room. Ensure all guests feel welcome and comfortable.
• Locker Room Maintenance: Ensure locker rooms, restrooms, and changing areas are clean, stocked, and well-maintained. This includes wiping down surfaces, cleaning mirrors, emptying trash bins, and ensuring all facilities are functioning properly.
• Towel Service: Provide fresh towels for members and guests. Launder and replenish towels as needed.
• Personal Items: Assist members with storing and retrieving personal items, ensuring all lockers are secure and organized.
• Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a high level of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in all locker room areas. Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Product Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the golf course amenities, services, and policies. Assist members with any inquiries regarding the golf course or locker room policies.
• Customer Requests: Respond to special requests from members and guests, including setting up lockers, arranging for shoe cleaning or other services.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the locker room supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Communication Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate with members and guests, offering assistance in a friendly and professional manner.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry towels and cleaning supplies. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with other staff members and cooperate with the golf course team to ensure smooth operations.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
