Longshore Boats is a leading provider of premium boats and service catering to passionate boating enthusiasts. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Continuous Improvement Associate and help us provide our customers with the opportunity to escape, recreate and share their love of boating!
Corn hole and ping-pong skills are not required, but may come in handy at our company tournaments! And did we mention the oyster roasts and boat outing weekends?
Job Summary:
The Continuous Improvement Associate is responsible for developing and refining internal processes, supporting employee growth and development, and ensuring operational efficiency. This role will work closely with management and team members to improve training, onboarding, and procedural documentation while maintaining compliance with industry certifications. The ideal candidate will be detail orientated, communicate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless workflow, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Employee Development & Onboarding
- Enhance employee satisfaction by clarifying role expectations and creating structured growth plans.
- Assist managers in developing short and long term employee growth and development plans.
- Design and maintain training checklists for all new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Support the hiring process by assisting with recruitment, screening, and onboarding of new personnel.
Process & Policy Optimization
- Improve customer and employee experience by documenting, updating, and communicating processes and policies.
- Track and monitor Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) feedback, adjusting policies and procedures accordingly.
- Maintain MRAA continuous certification and leverage available training resources.
- Review and track policy and warranty expenses on a monthly basis, identifying areas for process improvement.
Operational Efficiency & IT Management
- Enhance dealership efficiency and reputation by identifying areas for improvement.
- Oversee IT and software support, ensuring optimal system functionality and user accessibility.
- Manage and coordinate scheduled maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in process improvement, training, human resources, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and analyze performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with management and team members.
- Familiarity with policy compliance, customer satisfaction tracking, and warranty processes is a plus.
- Experience in IT/software support and facility maintenance coordination is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, CRM software, and process documentation tools preferred.
