We are looking for an enthusiastic hard-worker who is dedicated to providing an excellent customer experience. We value honesty, integrity, and a desire to succeed and grow.

We will train the right person if you don't have boat or advising experience. Locally owned and growing strong for over 30 years, we are a tight-knit team with a mission to deliver an exceptional boating experience so our customers can escape, recreate, connect, and share their love of boating!

Corn hole and ping-pong skills not required but may come in handy at our company tournaments! And did we mention the oyster roasts and boat outing weekends?

This opportunity is in Charleston, SC - one of the best destinations in the USA to live and work.

  • Earnings of $50,000-$75,000 annually inclusive of incentives and opportunity for overtime.
  • 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm Monday-Friday schedule, plus one Saturday a month, 9 : 00am-1 : 00pm (We are closed every Sunday)

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Professionally greeting and establishing rapport with customers to grow lifelong relationships and instill trust
  • Ensuring an outstanding Service Experience from initial contact through estimation, scheduling, quality assurance, and return to the customer
  • Communicating with customers to keep them informed and updated on the status of the service being performed on their boat
  • Effectively scheduling daily work for our technicians
  • Using established procedures to estimate and document all charges on repair orders accurately
  • Answering daily phone calls, actively listening to customers, and communicating issues to other staff members
  • Asking customers about their needs and wants to find opportunities to provide additional service and maintenance with an aim to meet or exceed service sales goals
  • Becoming knowledgeable of and staying current on product information such as recalls, service bulletins, warranties, etc.

Skills :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong background in customer service and support
  • Collaborative team player attitude
  • Organizational skills are a must
  • Ability to learn new concepts, systems, and methods
  • Mechanically inclined (Experience with car or boat mechanics a plus but not required!)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Attention to detail
