What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advance Practice Provider - Internal Medicine position at LONGSTREET CLINIC?
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Performing age-appropriate history and physical for patients
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs
Prescribing appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities
Implementing treatment and interventions based on national guidelines.
Monitoring treatment effectiveness of interventions to help support the patient.
Facilitating patient and family in decision making by providing educational tools.
Candidates should be licensed as advanced practice providers in the State of Georgia. Two years of experience in a primary care setting preferred but willing to consider new graduates with strong experience.
Must be able to speak, read and write both English and Spanish.
