What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider - Urgent Care Gainesville position at LONGSTREET CLINIC?
Longstreet Clinic is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care Clinic in Gainesville, GA.
- Ideal candidate will work well in fast paced acute care setting.
- Prefer experience with suturing, I&D and other in office procedures.
- Performing age-appropriate history and physicals
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic and therapeutic tests including imaging and EKG’s.
- Prescribing appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
- Facilitating patient and family in clinical decision making.
Candidates should hold a license as an advanced practice provider in the State of Georgia. Two-Three years of experience in urgent care setting preferred but will consider someone with experience in acute care setting or similar
