Longstreet Clinic is currently seeking a personable Lab Assistant for our Pediatric Practice in Baldwin, GA. As a lab assistant you will be responsible for performing specimen collection and processing specimen collection. Apply now if you meet the following qualifications!
Primary Responsibilities for this lab assistant position include:
- Collect and analyze patient specimens or send them out to be analyzed
- Perform specimen collection using correct CPT & ICD-10 codes
- Labeling vials accurately and matching blood specimens to patients
- Perform daily maintenance and perform quality control test
Experience/Education
- Phlebotomy Certificate (current in the state of Georgia)
- Previous Lab and EPIC experience preferred
- CPR Certification
- Be able to work with babies, small children and teens
