What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Coordinator-Phone Triage position at LONGSTREET CLINIC?
Longstreet Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for our Longstreet Clinic Oncology department located in Gainesville, GA. This is a full-time position.
Successful candidates will be able to:
- Utilize the switchboard to answer, screen and route calls while using proper phone etiquette at all times
- Should be able to distinguish between emergency and non-emergency patient calls and request immediate help when needed
- Communicate appointment date, time and provider with patients
- Schedule, cancel or re-schedule appointments for patients as call volume permits
Previous medical office experience preferred. EPIC experience a plus.
