What are the responsibilities and job description for the Primary Care Physician - Demorest position at LONGSTREET CLINIC?
Longstreet Clinic is seeking a caring, experienced and dedicated Internal or Family Medicine Physician for our Demorest, Ga office. The physician would have the ability to establish an individualized practice in a beautiful region of the North Georgia Mountains. The doctor must possess a compassionate spirit for excellent patient care. The doctor must also have superior clinical skills and ability to work in a team oriented setting.
This includes but not limited to performing age-appropriate history and physical for patients. Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient’s age-specific needs. Prescribes appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment modalities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible MD or DO
- Graduate of an accredited Program
- Current Georgia license or ability to obtain a Georgia license is required
- Strong knowledge base of HIPAA and OSHA
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, Empathy, Compassion, and ability to work as a team
- Excellent bedside manner and solid clinical judgement
- Proficient in the use of simple medical instruments and equipment
