Job Summary
We are recruiting for a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. The facility is a long-term care facility with 100 beds. The Nursing Home Administrator will oversee the daily operations of a nursing home facility, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and provide high-quality care to residents. This leadership role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents, managing staff effectively, and fostering a positive environment for residents and employees.
The Administrator must be brilliant, kind, and compassionate, and want to make a difference and excel at leading a dedicated team.
DUTIES:
- Manage all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Supervise nursing staff and support personnel to maintain high standards of care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care provided to residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans for residents, particularly those with developmental disabilities or dementia.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement among staff members.
- Regular assessments of facility performance and resident satisfaction should be conducted to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure proper training and development opportunities are available for staff to enhance their home care, assisted living, and social work skills.
REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Public Health Administration, or a related degree is required.
Must have at least five years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a LTC or nursing facility.
Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator’s license or meet the licensure requirements of this State.
A proven track record of good Federal and State regulation compliance survey outcomes.
Experience in Nursing home experience profit and loss responsibilities and objectives, achieving programmatic goals, and
Excellent communication skills and motivating staff to meet the goal of providing quality resident care.
